What kind of professionals provide Physical Therapy?

The Warner Hospital & Health Services physical therapy team is a group of healthcare professionals who work with you to develop individualized programs suited to your specific needs and your lifestyle, and work closely with the primary care physician to establish individual goals and create treatment plans to achieve them.

What should I expect from Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, and Certified Athletic Trainers work with patients recovering from physically debilitating conditions, including athletic injuries, orthopedic or neurological surgery, sprains, and strains. Treatments can be specialized to benefit neck, shoulder, elbow, hand, spine, hip, knee or ankle problems.

Have you tried Dry Needling?

Dry Needling assists the therapists in healing multiple conditions such as but not limited to: neck pain, should impingement, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, knee pain, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, low back pain, and TM disorders. Dry needling helps to restore normal muscle length and tone, while also improving blood flow to tissues that have not been fully healed or healed improperly from injury. Dry needling is completely safe with minimal side effects and is covered by most insurance.

What conditions can a Physical Therapist treat?

The therapists can treat a variety of balance disorders from inner ear problems causing dizziness to general unsteadiness due to deconditioning following an injury. They can help reduce your chance of falling and suffering further injury. For individuals returning to work after an extended recovery, the PT clinic offers Work Conditioning as well.

Can therapy help student-athletes?

WHHS PT department donates athletic trainer services to high school sporting events. If your athlete is in pain, they can be seen by our athletic trainer, or they can be seen in our clinic for a screening.

Are there programs for those seeking better fitness?

The Warner Hospital & Health Services Physical Therapy Department offers a wellness program for those seeking an exercise plan to meet their individual needs, such as weight loss, general fitness or continuing assistance after rehab.

Physical Therapy is open Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 5:00 pm.
