CURRENT OPENINGS:

  • Radiologic Technologist – Full Time (Must be able to share in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation): Performs diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Must be able to perform all the skills of a Radiology Technologist with the ability to perform CT scans. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation protection, and specialized technique as required for a radiologic technologist.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
      • Licensed in the State of Illinois
      • CPR Certification
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.  May be exposed to communicable diseases.

 

  • Sleep Study Tech – PRN (As needed: 3-4 nights per month, flexible scheduling): Per physician order, performs a variety of sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Schedules diagnostic/consultative/educational activities for sleep patients.  Scores sleep records and documents test results.  Must have the ability to work alone, good people skills and ability to maintain good rapport with physicians and staff. 
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Completion of Polysomnography Program Certification strongly preferred.
      • CPR certification required.
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

 

  • RN or LPN – Family Medicine – PRN (as needed): Knowledge and skills to provide appropriate evaluation, management, and treatment of care as authorized and in collaboration with the clinic physician and nurse practitioner.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing.
      • CPR & ACLS certification.
      • Licensed as an RN or LPN with the State of Illinois.
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Minimum lifting, sitting for extended periods of time, extensive computer input, using telephone, and writing. High level of activity; fast paced environment; subject to constant interruptions.

 

  • Family Medicine Receptionist/CNA – PRN (as needed):
    Previous experience working in physician’s office helpful. Good public relations skills, ability to schedule appointments, and answer the phone. Knowledge of insurance billing, Medicaid and Medicare rules and regulations and medical terminology desired. Maintaining confidentiality is an absolute requirement. Believe in WHHS mission, values, and active participant in Quality Improvement Program.

    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school graduate or equivalent.
      • CNA Certification or Medical Assistant Training.
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: Must be able to sit and walk for long periods of time.

 

  • Part Time (16 hrs/wk) and PRN (as needed) Emergency Room Intake Technicians (schedule will include weekend and holiday rotation): Performs various administrative functions, such as reception and clerical work. Responsible for greeting incoming patients, completing full patient reception and registration functions which include entering demographic and insurance information. Assists ED RN in caring for patients who present to facility with life/limb threatening conditions. Must demonstrate an ability to be flexible with schedule and tasks and be able to function well in stressful situations.
    • Qualifications/Experience:
      • High school graduate or equivalent.
      • Licensed in the State of Illinois as EMT-B / P. NREMT or NREMT-P.
      • CPR certification required.
      • One year pre-hospital EMS experience preferred.
    • Physical/Mental Requirements: May be required to lift 50 lbs. or more. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and may be exposed to communicable diseases.
